Salt

From eyes, they descend
Through cheeks, they glide
Making nose the valley's side.

Then Melting all her pride
They whacked the door & entered inside
Salted water made her the vampire of her own
Wasn't supposed to air her lungs more.

For the tree was yellow
Colour blinded she was,
Believing that shadow was of green
Yes, it kept her away from the fire-ball.

But seasons do change
So now, alone the stone sat on the stone
Salted eyes staring the whispering waves talking of her lost pride.

Realisation is what she then sensed
Stood up, Head up, Chest up
And marched above those giggling waves.

By choosing the bridge of yet another life of her own
Stickiness of that eye water was on her face
Reminding her of that yellowish pain
With which she reached the other side
And planted her own green tide.

Then heard that similar voice calling her out loud
Her eyes peeped through that green shroud
Ran back to the bridge
And kneeled at the edge.

Tossed the waves on her face
Gave that lost pride its salt
With this pace, she turned back to the gate
and never intended to see that autumn face.
