A message STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART..without any edits..

They have not witnessed my birth. But they have cradled me to sleep,
they have seen me crawl and then stand on my feet.
...

When I sit back and think what is it here that I miss...
Amidst a developed city that is surely a bliss.
My thoughts bounced back to that beautiful place...
Where me like millions took up pace.
...

My eyes long to meet you, everytime I think of those golden days you gifted us.

The days when waking up for a new day was as exciting as opening a gift.
Going to school was like logging in a networking site

This one is better without a title

As beautiful as she is, magnificent to every eye.
Draped in lush green silk, eye candy to the passer by.
...

Some memories reminds us of a melody,
It encapsulates us in its lovely cocoon,
Woven of silk and threads of maroon.
...

I am your child ohh my mother..

And these are my feelings you may never bother..
...

Thousands in a day flow as streams
Rarely do we think of the power it redeems
Sparkling blobs in the canvas of tongue
The darkness it flees never ever come.

Anupa Subramanian Biography

Hello friends, As most of you here, I too love to write.I have had a stagnant period in my life, with marriage, kid and a hectic worklife (all very much consecutive: P) I am here mostly to read all of your poems, than posting, as it is a rare affair. I am looking forward to find the lost poet in me and also to write more frequently and post. I love feedbacks more than positive comments! ! Happy writing...! !)

A message STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART..without any edits..

They have not witnessed my birth. But they have cradled me to sleep,
they have seen me crawl and then stand on my feet.
they mocked at my foolishness and rejoiced in my success.
they bore my tantrums and stood by my dreams.
they wept when I cried and then wiped my tears.
greeted me when I woke up each time and slept only once i closed my eyes...
It hurts, it pains to leave this place,
Where they stand so firm, holding the roof, keeping us one,
They are the walls that make my home….SWEET HOME
