I'm just a 18 year old man, living in the world. Poetry is my outlet for my feelings and I usually keep them to myself. But recently I want other peoples opinions; not people who are just well " people" but other people who also enjoy and use poetry to help them or just because they enjoy it. So I thank everyone who read mine, and I shall gladly read yours if you want me too c:)

The Best Poem Of Anthony Viggiano

Music.

The soft strum of an acoustic,
The hard bang of a drum,
The delicate hum of a vocalist,
The steady pace of a bass,
To some people this is all just noise,
To me this is more than just noise; this is life,
It was a major influence of things,
Bringing happiness when needed; or to make me feel when I couldn’t,

Everyone feels these healing vibrations differently,
Some don’t think it can heal,
That it’s all a lie when “It helps me through problems”,
But they don’t understand a predicament someone goes through,
Only their own and how music affects them,

They don’t know the constant downward spiral a life can take,
How much pain and anguish can be held in ones soul,
How much it takes to wake up each morning,
How much it can kill to look in a mirror at who you are and just hate everything about it,
But evidently most people wouldn’t care even when they say they do,
Or use the kindness they display as a way to obtain deep emotions to knock you down more pegs,

Music doesn’t do that,
Music is non judgemental toward it’s listener and can touch a hurt soul,
It can heal broken hearts; broken thoughts; and broken lives,
Not saying music is the greatest thing in the world; at least not for everyone,
But for this individual; it’s his savior,
It’s why he can smile everyday and embrace everyone and everything,
Sometimes I’m weary of using the word “love”,
But in this situation it’s no contest or second guessing,
I love music and my life would be gone without it.
