Angello Furigay Poems

Loyal, Determined, strong and the bravest of them all
Everyone would love to hear his deep, bold bawl
Why did Old Dan have to die?
He wouldn’t have left if he saw how much Billy cried
...

I've never been seen like a dark shadow knight
Although I'm here in the glimmering light
The forest is clear
The enemy is here
...

Little Grace Ellington, yes she could sing
Her golden voice was as gold as a ring
Although her voice was as beautiful as a flower
Her magnificent singing didn't reach pass the shower
...

To start off this poem
Let me tell you
I'm at a writer's block
This poem has no value
...

Today was Christmas day
We decorated the christmas tree
We all hang the ornaments with glee
Until my little brother came in the room
...

What do you call that party that doesn’t end?
The one that everyone wants to attend?
The one with dancing to rock and roll?
The one that is so out of control?
...

We're always together
Never alone
I'm here with my mother
You see I never lose hope
...

Picked in the Reaping
How terrible is this
My family is weeping
I give them my last kiss
...

Half empty
Why think of it like that
Think of it as plenty
Like a kid who is fat
...

This is what you will need in a matter of time
I will tell you young knight it might be hard to find
This is no ordinary quest
The beast you will be facing  is quite a pest

Where The Red Fern Grows

Loyal, Determined, strong and the bravest of them all
Everyone would love to hear his deep, bold bawl
Why did Old Dan have to die?
He wouldn’t have left if he saw how much Billy cried

Little Ann was the most intelligent, allegiant, and agile
As tough as she was her big heart was fragile
Little Ann felt so much sorrow
Why when Old Dan died. Her big heart turned hollow
Being this lonely, Will she live till tomorrow?

Two days after his death she also died
It was like her and Old Dan were tied
Wherever he went she went.
But is this really what God meant

For these wonderful hounds to die
Billy didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye
Little Ann, Old Dan why did you both have to go?
Did you both want to go to heaven?
So both of your eyes can once more glow?
Or did you both want to see the red fern grow?
