An Elegy Of My Father

I hate the flowers, I hate this crowd
I am silent but my heart wept loud
I threw your photo, I kicked your grave
Of all, your the one I couldn't save

Now your gone, I am alone
Though many came to see your throne
A coffin beneath a white washed grave
Your lying away from me.

You lit my world, you changed my life
You rid my life of pain and strife
Now all I have are memories and tears
I sleep and eat with all these fears.
