Amber Muth Poems

Grip of hands loosen,
Lost sight of what was there,
Bonds broken,
Eyes closed shut,
...

The sky without the stars,
The sea without the water,
The ground without the grass,
It was meant to be together;
...

It's the hardest thing to do,
When your past is all you dwell on,
When it's time to move on,
You need to let it go,
...

It's hard but it'll be easier,
It's sad but we'll be happier,
It's struggle but we know it's better,
It's tears that'll soon be happy memories,
...

A boy with no name,
As his face shows his shame,
If he may never know the game,
In which from he came,
...

If for every flower pettle that falls off of flowers meant one time i thought about you, I'd have a land filled meddow.
If for every penny thrown into a fountain meant every wish to kiss you, I'd be wealthy.
If for every person I saw in my lifetime meant every dream i dreamed of you, I'd own a galaxy.
If for every car stuck on the highway meant gazing into your eyes with all my love for you, I'd have it all traffic jammed.
...

Not a thought goes by,
When I'm looking in your eyes,
Although others may despise,
But I know in my heart I was wise.
...

You surround me like the air,
You smother me like a fire,
You smile as bright as the sun,
How I wished we were more then friends then.
...

I must be blind,
For I can not see,
The wrong that lies,
Beneath me,
...

As love goes on forever,
It's way to late now,
It's happening again,
As my feet slipt up from underneath me,
...

Just keep walking,
Don't stop as we enjoy this time right now,
If we enjoy it together,
It may last forever;
...

For this moment,
I lay beside you,
Drifting away slowly,
In eachothers arms,
...

13.

Why does it hurt so much,
To not hear from you,
As I wait with reality slipping,
Repeating please concentrate,

Losing Them

Grip of hands loosen,
Lost sight of what was there,
Bonds broken,
Eyes closed shut,
Heart beats slowly fade,
Sadness fills the mind,
Words shorten,
Tears fall gently,
Coldness preaches,
Deep glare toward the light,
Soft following of foot prints,
Comfort words to join,
Feeling of emptiness,
As the last tear sheds,
His life is told with in it,
Slowly drafted down to earth,
A thick sad circle is formed,
He may lie in rest,
But in peace as well,
In memory of his face,
We will never forget,
The moments we shared,
Throughout the time,
He was planted beyond us,
Now let me say,
As I see with my eyes,
Grips of our hands loosen,
Losing the site of him here,
Bonds between us break,
Eyes manually closed,
Not a single beat is to be felt,
Sadness is to be left upon us,
Words are hard to be spoken,
Yet our tears say enough,
Warmth has left him in such speed,
Noticing the beautiful light,
Following of who we say God,
By his soft, comforting words,
And left in such small time,
We are left here in emptiness.
