Break these chains that have bound me oh Lord
release me from this prison i have made my life

Free my spirit
help me release this pain and anger that once consumed me
inspire my life that i may live in your joy

Bring me back to the innocence of your presence
the forgiveness of your grace

This long lonely journey has made me weak
i can barely stand
i crawl to you humble and broken

Lift my head oh Lord
that i may see your face, that i may touch your garment
heal me from the sickness of this earth
loneliness and distress is all i bring

Im hanging on Lord
Im reaching for You

Pull me out of this darkness
expose my sin for what it is that i may flee from it

Misery and loneliness was all i knew
heal my heart and fill the vacancy
my heart is ripped open and ready for you
do what you like with it

My soul is tired and torn
this world has left me broken and bruised
all that was good in me was taken
and i am left with nothing more then hope
