Jesus Christ

The son of the living god
It is at his name that every knee will bow
In heaven in earth and under the earth
Every tongue will confess that he is lord

It is through him that l was saved
It is through him that l was made
Brothers and sisters
Blessed be, blessed thee
The one who lives upon his word

Nothing can ever go wrong if you live
Upon his word
Though challenges we may face
His word is there to save us from tribulations

We were once separated away from him
By our evil thoughts and actions
But he brought us back as friends

It is by his death that l stand
Before god without a single fault
Blameless and holy

But assuredly l must continue living
Firmly upon this truth

He was a man who many looked down at
We had no care about
Nevertheless he carried our weaknesses
He was crucified, many were happy
As they thought it was a punishment for his sins
Sins they never knew were theirs

We adore you
O lord Jesus Christ
We bless you
For in the holy cross
You have redeemed the world
