Alice Miller Poems

1.

You rip through the trees,
A black blur stronger then
Anything
The world's ever witnessed,
...

Orange wings dance,
a vision of shattered beauty-
thick flames turn ever slowly,
red and orange and all colors hellish.
...

The tiger slammed
it's heavy head
on the mangled branch
echoing of something stronger,
...

There is blood
dripping, dripping
off snow white paws,
ice perfection,
...

5.

Thick calls
haunt the ghosting birch's
of the woods,
drunk on moon-shine,
...

6.

Silken, golden wings
catch the sunlight,
fierce golden eyes
the equivelant of sun
...

7.

The
Deer
ran,
heavy hoofbeats

Alice Miller Biography

Born in March, Miller is remotely intelligent and preferrs to be left alone so she can muse on random things(nature, man, cream cheese...) She loves animals, ecspecially wild ones, and is a vegetarian. She is against the Iraq war, as mentioned in her poem 'Hacked' (yes, she is compariang the atrocities of war to deforestation, believe it or not.) I'd like to say Atlas is my best poem so make sure to read and rate it. Wierd comparison, I know any way- be sure to read my poems and feel free to make comments! ! ! . :) (Preferrably witty ones though...))

The Best Poem Of Alice Miller

Atlas

You rip through the trees,
A black blur stronger then
Anything
The world's ever witnessed,
Thick paws heavy with dread
And with knowledge
And with things kept from
You.

You howl,
Again, the birch's
Nothing more then
A snow striped blurr,
Nothing more then
Eternity...
A pointless thing,
You howl with dread
Blankness. Death.

But you are stronger then
That.
You press on,
Heedless of the blood-stained
Cantelope sky,
Heedless of the ropy red clouds,
Heedless of the lake,
A reflective of sky.

You tramp in, your intentions clear,
The sky thrust on your paws
And the summer birch's spin
As do the clouds,
And the air
And shadows
Of the wind.

But you are heedless of
Eternity

Alice Miller Quotes

Sadism is not an infectious disease that strikes a person all of a sudden. It has a long prehistory in childhood and always originates in the desperate fantasies of a child who is searching for a way out of a hopeless situation.

The reason why parents mistreat their children has less to do with character and temperament than with the fact that they were mistreated themselves and were not permitted to defend themselves.

Wherever I look, I see signs of the commandment to honor one's parents and nowhere of a commandment that calls for the respect of a child.
