What can you say about one of your best friends? Well Alexis is also one of the first people I started sharing poetry with and she is also who inspired me to start writing seriously again instead of the flimsy pieces of paper I used to call poetry. She helps me to be better, to try harder, and has excellent feedback and advice. Her trademark is her wittyness. You have to think about her poems and she leaves them lingering with you. One of my favourites to follow.
Alexis. What can I say about her? She is one of the first, if not THE first person I have ever shared my poetry with. She has helped me grow in many ways and I hold her in high esteem. The way she writes not only inspires me, but it also encourages me even when it is a touchy subject. I value her opinion immensely when looking for a good critique of my own writing. She was my first real favourite poet.
Alexis... is a poet for which the commendation well done need not be uttered. It goes without saying for every piece of writing she authors. Her clever, meaningful thoughts flow seamlessly tegether time after time. She posesses the ability to spin any bland subject matter into a beautiful and dazzling tapestry worthy of the best display case. Her ideas never cease to amaze a humble reader.
Deadened are my lively days When simple was a word I didn't know I stepped with high-heels onto a moonlit street And without a sound feel a rhythm I could feel any beat Out of my own volition
