Akina Tran Poems

As I close my eyes,
I get locked up in walls
The towers that scale among
a thousand earths
...

The morning hot sun
filtered through the
amber leaves
as if its
...

I was lost and lonely
hurt and dieing
slowing fading within
the lies and crying

My Mind

As I close my eyes,
I get locked up in walls
The towers that scale among
a thousand earths
And a tree just as tall
As if being locked into oblivion
Where chained eyes can't see
Was I too oblivious
or are they teasing me?
Reaching through a mirror
Seeing empty souls
Am I the keeper or just in control?
Memories that fade
and secrets whispered in my ears
I dont want to know
Why am i even here?
Is this a part of me? or just some dream
surely nothing is what it seems
When words come out and fly away
I try to catch them to make them stay
No! I didn't mean to say that
It is not who I am
for please believe me
I don't know where I stand
Being lost takes forever
Being found has no sound.
But when I get through this endeavor
I will steal your crown
You may be in control but not for too long
I am me and myself and I sing my own song.
