Adesola Tomilade

Adesola Tomilade Poems

As He was hanged on the stick... At Calvary
He looked down with a smile and said... Don't worry
It is done, it is finished, you are free... From your misery
A misery so great... He layed for it
...

For one year whole
I laboured, I toiled
To serve the fatherland
...

When I read your thoughts
As if God I was
A smile I give your thoughts
And a penny for your thoughts
...

Will you say my dreams for me?
Will you help me remember it?
Coz I had a dream last night
A dream I cherish so that night
...

You say you love me
A love deep from your heart
But I am lazy
Simply lazy to love
...

Who cares if love is blind?
As far as I am concerned, I can see
And I can see through your emotions
To know if truly you are in love
...

'Arise and shine! '
The Clarion Voice cried
For you are the light
The Nation's light
...

Adesola Tomilade Biography

Adesola Tomilade is an aspiring creative writer who takes delight in pouring out his mind on any subject ranging from the political atmosphere of his country to the beauty of life anywhere. I am a Nigerian with a very strong passion for writing. I am also a graduate from one of the most reputable universities in Nigeria. I speak English, French, Pidgin English and Yoruba fluently, while I also speak basic German and Igbo. I believe we are all intelligent, but our level of intelligence differs. That though, I believe does not mean you are more intelligent than me. Our exposure is what really determines our level of intelligence. I write on almost about everything. As the spirit directs (smiles) , as long as it makes sense to me and to the reader. I can be very spontaneous, and sometimes I can be very hilarious. But don't worry, there always will be a point and a message to pass. I love making friends and meeting people. I gues that makes me a bit of the extrovert side. But I am careful with the kind of friend I make also. I'll really love to be friends with multi-linguists, especially anyone who can speak French or German. He Made Me Whole {he Gave Me Life}

As He was hanged on the stick... At Calvary
He looked down with a smile and said... Don't worry
It is done, it is finished, you are free... From your misery
A misery so great... He layed for it

On that stick... At Calvary

Three days and Three nights... He was there
In the valley of the shadow of death... He was there
As He wrestled agaist the king of death... Himself
To seize the key of life back... From there

For three days... In the shadows of death

The snones of the tomb has been rolled away!
The Master of my life layed not there!
He is done he has conquered death itself!
And the master of the death he has cast away!

The master of my life... Conquered death!

So I cried and I wept... Joyfully!
'Coz I know and I see... It is done!
Yes it is! Just exactly as he said... At calvary!
Now I get my hope back... It is done!

So I cried and I wept... It is done!

That is why I celebrate... And honour Him
For the lord of my life...Has made me whole {He gave me life}
I will shout I shall sing... Praises for Him
For by His blood and His death... HE MADE ME WHOLE {He gave me life}
