and a free ride on a busy day

like a nod of approval from your boss
or that smile a sleeping baby gives
like a forgotten 500-peso tucked in your pocket
like a re-run of your much-awaited movie on cable T.V.

like a coin that dropped perfectly into the wishing well
like a password-free wifi that is near
like a last available text message that went through
and a buy one, take one treat

like the butterflies in your stomach when you hear his voice
and a shooting star in the sky
like a double rainbow after it rained...
