Darker Memories

Memories,
Memories take some sharp turn,
Memories are no fun,
Memories turn ur eyes wet,
Memories,
Memories is all I wanna forget...

What life would be with all happiness and no tear,
What war would be with all bravery and no fear,
Is it good to have nothing far and everybody near...?

Some go away for good,
And that I have understood,
But memories,
Memories become that dark hood,
Shadow of feelings cloud thy mood...

Memories,
I dont know when they go,
Nor the timing of their show,
Long back for seeds I had sow,
How can one swim against the flow...?

Let them not drown you,
Let them not set you afloat,
Shoulders need to shred a few,
To be able to hold thy throat...

Memories,
Sure they give a hard time,
Surely they are not a friend,
They say it all becomes fine,
And if not, then its not the end...
