On this morning
I remember the Friends of Allah,
Who were not like Moses who,
Walked up to the Mountain At-Tur,
And made dua to Almighty:
Rabbi Arini Anzur Ilaik."
"O my Creator, Bless me,
With Your Divine Vision,
I wish to see you."¹
On this morning,
The Truth is not hidden from me,
The primordial voice of Allah still echoes,
'Am I not your lord? And I am saying,
'Yes, my lord.'
On this morning,
I clearly know it now:
I am only a spirit,
And You are truly what You are,
I know it now, it is my belief,
He, who becomes Allah's,
Allah becomes his.
On this morning,
I remember,
He is now as He was before.
He is here as He was always here.
La ilaha illa Huwa!
(none has the right to be worshipped but He!)
The All-Knower of the unseen and the seen!
