3 Minutes And 41 Seconds Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

3 Minutes And 41 Seconds

Rating: 5.0

I think i was
somewhere between the pale yellow sky
turning dark

while life was a haze
terribly funny
chronically ill-disguised

she was waiting for a taxi
in between the meetings
trying to shovel
priorities into her watch

i called
to say "Hi"

she said "hold on, let me get into the taxi"
it was peaceful inside

we talked for 3 minutes and 41 seconds
of which 1 minute was wasted in silence

she said "darling, it's been long and we thought we moved on."

i said
i called to say "Hi"

and she said
"darling, it's been long and we thought we moved on."

It reflects the life or the reality of a modern day relationship. Thanks, abu tarek.
