The Dirt Heap
Is Everest tall,
Uneasy feelings
Fill,
...
Years ago,
Much before we were born,
Dedicating a poem to someone,
Was really, blowing their horn.
...
Come with me,
Let us change the World,
With Poetry,
And you will see,
...
Some poets think,
That because we scribble,
A few truths,
We can change the World.
...
For thousands of years,
We try to fix the World,
A cut here, a kill there,
A lie here, a tyrant there,
...
I'm running out of themes and ideas,
Getting closer to empty piers,
Where Poetic Ships resist to come.
As life goes on and the World turns,
...
I'd like to eat peanuts,
And sip on French wine,
Then climb on Mt. Everest
And give Moon a Shine.
...
Because,
Nothing's
Really fair nor just,
I cry my words,
...
Those
That blindly believe
Political party lines and lies
Have had their souls apprehended,
...
How often,
No matter how old we may be,
Do we think, 'things will change',
That some how, Hope can be arranged,
...
Love, Hate and Fate,
Three things, we cannot deviate!
...
Dreamers,
May be Fools
But they
Can change the world
...
